Financial Planning Association of Taiwan (FPAT), FPSB’s Chinese Taipei Affiliate, will host a World Investor Week (WIW) Forum in partnership with financial institutions on 7 October, open to the public and the financial planning community.
The WIW Forum aims to raise the value of financial planning and support investor protection and will feature keynote speakers from various fields and regions, including experts from Japan Asssociation for Financial Planners (JAFP), RICS, and the National Academy of Taiwan. A panel discussion featuring CFP professionals and a speaker from The CCIM Institute will also be a part of the Forum.
The forum’s theme is aligned with the IOSCO World Investor Week campaign of 2026 (5-11 October), which focuses on three key areas: Investor Resilience, Digital Deception, and Scam Alert.
FPAT is partnering with Wealth Magazine to raise awareness of the Forum.
In addition, FPAT will share newly released FPSB’s 2026 Impact of AI on Financial Planning research findings to show how AI is shaping how consumers engage with financial information and how financial planners support clients and launching a social media and media campaign to help raise awareness of the value of financial planning.
