Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM), FPSB’s Malaysian Affiliate, will conduct the following activities to observe World Financial Planning Day:
- Host in-person and virtual financial literacy events in partnership with Smart Finance to help consumers learn more about the value of financial planning. Stay updated on these events.

- 28 September from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. (Malaysian time): Estate Planning for Families With Young Children
- 5 October from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. (Malaysian time): Spotting a Scam And What To Do

- 5 Easy Steps to Achieving Financial Independence (view recording)
- Dealing With Inflation, What Should You Do? (view recording)
- Strategies in Dealing With Rising Healthcare Costs (view recording)
- Provide consumers one-on-one, complimentary pro bono financial planning consultations with licensed financial planners in partnership with the Securities Commission Malaysia’s InvestSmart’s #FinPlan4U initiative throughout September and October:
- 11-13 October: Online sessions open to all Malaysians
- 17-18 October: In-person in Kuching, Sarawak
- 17-18 October: In-person in Kuala Lumpur
- FPAM members will participate in a social media campaign to promote World Financial Planning Day from 31 August – 5 October.
- Launch an extensive media and social media campaign, publish articles, blogs and/or brochures to raise awareness about the value of financial planning and CFP certification.
